After a month hustling to sell oranges and grapefruits to provide the funding for our many community grants and $17,000 in college scholarships, we spent a couple of cold days serving the customers at the "Village Links Golf Course". The club used their facilities from the dock at the maintenance building to the front drive of the club house to fill the orders. Other members of the club were driving to three counties, 10 towns and visiting near by Rotary Clubs to deliver the nearly thousand cases of fruit. A special thank you to Bob McNees from the Carol Stream Club for his coordination and the use of his office to deliver dozens of cases to two other clubs.
