The Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn Mentor Day for Glenbard West and Glenbard South high school students was held on Thursday, November 2. Mentor Day has been in existence for over 20 years and continues to grow.

This year, 45 high school juniors participated and were connected with mentors throughout the community who work in careers of interest to the students.  Some of the careers explored were veterinary medicine, accounting, education, as well as a variety of medical related careers.  After spending the morning with mentors, the students and mentors join the Rotary Club for lunch and share highlights from their experiences with the club membership and guests.  MC Jim Kelly from Glenbard West has presented the students with certificates on Mentor Day for 13 years.
Thank you to the over 20 mentors and coordinators who make this day possible for the students in Glen Ellyn.
